Frank Skawinski is the founding Site Director of Horizons at Notre Dame. He graduated from King’s College in Pennsylvania with a degree in history with secondary education, and he also played for the men’s lacrosse team for all four years. Frank is entering his 13th year teaching at Notre Dame High School, where he also runs the Intramural Sports and Horizons ND clubs. Frank holds his Professional Teaching Certificate through the State of Connecticut and received his MAT from Sacred Heart University in 2016.
Amanda Milne is the first year Academic Director of Horizons at Notre Dame. Amanda graduated from Sacred Heart University with a B.S. in History and an M.A. in Teaching, with a Concentration in Reading. While there, she was a member and captain of the cross country and track and field teams and spent time working in the Bridgeport Public Schools. Before joining the staff at Horizons Notre Dame, Amanda spent nine summers as a teacher at Horizons at Greens Farms Academy. During the school year, she is a first grade teacher in New Haven, CT.
